Newbridge Silverware – Museum of style Icons
I’ve been wanting to visit The Newbridge Silverware – Museum of style Icons for ages and last Thursday I finally did. I had a day off so I called up my best mates, made plans to hit the road and set off on an adventure! What’s the verdict! It’s a must see.
I live in Galway city so it took us about two and a half hours to get there, of course, there was the odd coffee pit stop here and there ;). Once we arrived at The Newbridge Silverware – Museum of style Icons we spent about an hour and a half pottering around the museum. I found the place mesmerising.
Even if you’re not into celebrity culture you’ll love this place. The pieces on show are wonderfully presented and there’s so much to see.
They have pieces from Audrey Hepburn, Princess Diana, Michael Jackson, The Beatles plus many, many more.
Look at the sparkles on that dress ❤ ❤ <3.
Of course, I was mega excited to see The Beatles memorabilia! The Beatles actually wore these suits… CLASS!!!
Last but not least my absolute favourite was seeing Michael Jackson’s memorabilia! The King of pop wore these clothes. Ahhhhhhhhhh! Best. Day. Ever!
Genuinely, If you’re looking a fab day out while indulging in a little culture this is the place for you. They’ve got a fab gift shop downstairs with lots of amazing Newbridge Silverware pieces. I picked myself up some pretty snazzy coffee cups. All in all, I give this experience a 10/10. I’ll certainly be back for another visit.
