Formed in 2011, Mark Prunty (guitar/vox), Podge Gill (guitar/vox), Ross McNerney (banjo/mandolin), Emmett Collum (drums) are the four young Longford men of Brave Giant. Their love of Irish music is evident in their sound, a skillfully achieved blend of rock, folk and alternative influences.

INTRODUCING // BRAVE GIANT
Following a storming performance this weekend at Longitude 2017, Brave Giant is now gearing up for its first visit to the U.S.A. with shows in Milwaukee and New York this August.
It’s been a remarkable 18 months for independent band, Brave Giant. Their current single, The Time I Met the Devil (featuring Irish actor and comedian, Joe Rooney) has enjoyed over 60,000 views in less than twelve weeks adding to their impressive overall tally of 500,000 online video views.
Since June 2016 the band has had five consecutive sell-out headline shows in Dublin, including two sold-out shows at Whelan’s (main room) this spring. In winter last year, they joined Gavin James and Roisin O as the musical ambassadors of the Bord na Móna ‘HearthSessions’. Thus far in 2017, the boys have performed on RTE’s flagship The Late Late Show, supported Picture This during their five-night sell out run at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre and welcomed over 1,500 fans to their recent Longitude performance.

INTRODUCING // STOLEN CITY
Stolen city release their DEBUT music video to their song “Faces”.
“Having started out as two duos and a marching band drummer from various parts of Dublin, These five young energetic acoustic rock lovers decided to merge together to form Stolen City. Taking the lead with his vocals is singer-songwriter Sean McGrath followed by his right-hand man on stage David McCabe who gets the crowd going with his quirky sense of humour and epic mandolin skills. Lead guitarist Jordan Higgins is often the main focus on stage swinging his guitar behind his back while continuing to play, Taking the Bass is sound engineer/songwriter Adam Treacy, On the drums, is Ian Baily who is known for his solo which leads to all the lads hitting the floor to ensure all eyes are on him”.

INTRODUCING // BRASS PHANTOMS
‘City Of Wolves’ is an energetic guitar driven, drum fuelled track from Brass Phantoms and just a taster of what they have in store this year. The Dublin four-piece, indie rock band has an eclectic mix of influences, ranging from Joy Division to Foals. In February, they released their well received single ‘Waiting Up’.
No stranger to the live scene, Brass Phantoms have headlined their own shows throughout the country. They’ve been part of major festivals such as Other Voices and will be taking to the Cork stage at this year’s Indiependence Festival on the August Bank Holiday.
With a busy summer ahead and a follow-up single due for release in September – keep your eyes peeled as the band will be announcing some Irish shows throughout the coming months. You don’t want to miss their pure raw live energy on stage! The foursome will also embark on their first UK tour later in the year.
NEW MUSIC // WYVERN LINGO
I’ve been a massive fan of these ladies and as the years go by their sound just gets better and better. I recently caught them at Great Escape music festival in Brighton and they absolutely killed it on stage. They performed this new track for the first time and it was absolutely magical!
County Wicklow trio Wyvern Lingo up the ante with the first taste of their upcoming debut album. Described by the band as a song “about loving the feminine qualities of a man, and encouraging him not to worry about fitting into the male stereotype and just to be himself”; ‘I Love You, Sadie’ showcases Wyvern Lingo’s bold new Indie R’N’B sound just in time for the best days of summer.
The single was recorded in Dublin alongside producer James Kelly, with additional production and mix in London from Neil Comber (M.I.A. / Crystal Fighters), the band are currently putting the finishing touches to the rest of the album.
“I Love You, Sadie” is released on Rubyworks to all good digital download and streaming platforms on Friday 23rd June, with an impact date of Friday 18th August.

Formed as a collective of songwriters, childhood friends Shay, Kristam and Jake began working remotely with the shared goal of writing the songs they wanted to hear.
Hundreds of emails and flights on budget airlines later the Irish trio have crafted a sound that mixes sugary hooks, playful melodies and lush, chilled instrumentation.
Fox Vicious release their first single “Worlds Apart” on all major digital platforms.
Two years in the making, this single marks the start of the release cycle for their debut effort – [FVEP].
Further singles “Battleshakes”, “Crystal Eyes” and “Paper Planes” will be released digitally throughout Summer 2017.
